The band SeiZmos is a Greek entertainment group based in Toronto, Canada established three years ago. It consists of four members, in which each member got together because they all shared the same dream, combined with their love and devotion for Greek music They set out to give the Greek listener a taste of Greek music from a youthful perspective with a repertoire that covers modern and traditional music from various parts of Greece. Seizmos covers the latest hits and the classic songs our parents grew up and loved. Seizmos is about family, about expressing one’s soul, one’s passion, and that's what makes us so unique. Each member has been taught by the top professionals from Canada and Greece who are trained to give their listeners performances they will never forget. We cater to Greek weddings, baptisms, private functions and so on. Our biggest recent public events held are as follows: In the summer of 2004, we did a Greek day at Woodbine Casino in Toronto. 2004 we catered to a Canadian Olympic team going to Greece for the Olympics. In the summer of 2002 and 2003 we have done a concert at Canada’s wonderland for Greek day. In the summer of 2003 we also did a concert and Canada’s National Exhibition place for Greek day. We have performed at the Greek festivals such at St Johns Church and on the taste of Danforth. We travel and do private and public venues such as Greek festivals across Canada such as in Windsor Ontario, London, in Edmonton and so on.
